Narrator: Our journey began in January 2012. We launched Driver Hire Australia on the back of 30 years as a leading recruiter in the UK. We landed with a mission to deliver a new better way of recruiting for the Australian logistics industry.

Driver Hire Australia are proud to offer an outstanding service to both customers and candidates our clients rely on us to deliver critical human resources for their transportation needs and our candidates rely on us to find casual and permanent work.

People liked our approach to business, so naturally we expanded from two people in one small office to over 30 people across thirteen locations offices turnover has grown rapidly too from 5 million Australian dollars in our first year to approximately 35 million today. Today it’s incredible to see how much we’ve grown.

Throughout this journey one thing has remained the same – we are a people business. We are nothing without our people, which is why we invest in our staff, support their development and reward those who do well.

Culture is important to us. We believe in achieving results but also in having fun. Our journey isn’t just a business journey, it’s a journey for our people too.

Michael, Melbourne: “I started off as a coordinator, a very sort of junior based role, but eventually I’ve progressed on to becoming a consultant eventually becoming a senior consultant and then there’s also that opportunity to become a branch manager, and then somewhere along the lines of a director, so there’s definitely that opportunity to progress.”

Man 2: “Yes, absolutely I’m proud to work for Driver Hire. We all work together, to get the best results we can for Driver Hire and for us individually.”

Narrator: We’ve been on an amazing journey so far but for us it’s all about the future. In fact with ambitions to double the size of the business in the next two years this is just the beginning.

We’ll be opening new offices across Australia expanding the business and creating opportunities for our staff. We are even looking to open new offices internationally. We’ve got an exciting journey ahead.
