Role: MC Truck Drivers – Changeovers, Interstate or Local Work

Location: Our Clients are based around Western Sydney locations like Erskine Park, Eastern Creek, Wetherill Park, Riverstone & Pemulwuy

Salary: $0.66 Cents Per Kilometre

Shifts: Usually night starts, but also have afternoon and day starts are occasionally available

Driver Hire is partnering with some of Australia’s largest refrigerated and general freight companies to recruit experienced MC Truck Drivers for changeovers, interstate and local work.

Duties of the role:

• Linehaul driving, changeovers, interstate routes, trailer coupling/uncoupling
• Operating various MC vehicles: refrigerated, tautliner, Tanker trucks, Containers
• Conducting pre-start inspections
• Navigating and reversing around depots
• Maintain accurate timesheets and logbooks

• Adhering to Chain of Responsibility (CoR), Fatigue Management and Road Regulations
• Complying with Work Health and Safety (WHS) procedures

Requirements of the role:

• Valid MC (Multi-Combination) Truck Driver's Licence
• Minimum 2 years MC Truck driving experience
• Good driving record
• Physically fit and reliable
• Strong attention to detail and procedural compliance
• Good communication skills
• Unlimited work rights in Australia for immediate start
