As specialist within transport, we work very closely with all our drivers to ensure that we focus on what is right for you. We have Monday to Friday work, weekend work and Adhoc work available. Our clients are one of the largest refrigerated and general freight companies in Australia and they are seeking MC Truck Drivers for change overs and/or interstate work.
Duties of the role:
- MC Truck Driving
- Linehaul work - doing change overs/interstate
- Coupling and uncoupling trailers
- Navigating and reversing around the depot
- Maintain paperwork, timesheets/logbooks
- Conducting pre-start inspections
- Complying to Work Health and Safety (WHS) and other operational procedures
- Adhere to Chain of Responsibility (CoR), Fatigue Management and Road Regulations
Requirements of the role:
- MC (Multi-Combination) Truck Driver's Licence - minimum 1 year Truck driving experience
- Linehaul work = experienced in change overs and interstate work, and in coupling/uncoupling trailers
- Maintaining Timesheets and Logbooks
- Physically fit
- Good communication skills
- Good attention to detail and high procedural compliance
- Have a good Driving Record
- An up-to-date Resume
- Unlimited work rights in Australia
