Job Opportunity: Assembly Worker
Location: Molendinar
About the Role: this client specialises in the design and manufacture of quality and award winning camper trailers, toy haulers and off road accessories. Our mandate is to focus on producing quality products, continue to innovate and strive to exceed our customer expectations by providing outstanding customer service and care.
Responsibilities:
- Using basic hand tools, battery powered tools and pneumatic tools
- Perform tasks as per the task list for assigned work centre
- Ensure quality of work is the highest priority
- Clean and maintain the production site
- Ensuring you are clocking in and out of job tickets so that time studies can be performed, parts are consumed correctly for inventory management and rework times can be assessed. Perform carpentry tasks as needed
- Be available to move into any assembly position as requested
- Maintain necessary documentation and follow processes for continual improvement
- Make efforts to reduce waste of products and production materials
- Inform your coordinator if any parts, hardware and equipment are not available for you to perform your tasks
- Take care of all equipment used to a high standard and report any concerns.
- Support the management team in all company directives
- Any other task as directed by management

Skills and Qualities We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Proficiency with hand tools and carpentry or marine assembly highly regarded
- Forklift Ticket: Valid forklift license (not required but an advantage)
- Reliable and Punctual: Dependability is key
- Problem-Solving: Ability to think quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Team Player: Collaborate effectively to achieve common goals
