Our client is looking for experienced HC and MC Truck Drivers for our client based in Chullora, NSW. The client is an Australian logistics company providing port cartage, container transport, and warehousing services across major capital cities. The roles available below:
1. Role: HC Truck Drivers
Location: Chullora, NSW
Salary: From $42.50 per hour + Overtime + Super
Shifts: Day Shift (04:00-06:00am start) - Monday to Friday ongoing
Duties of the role:
o Tautliners and Flat Beds, strapping down and chains to secure load delivering across Sydney, general freight
2. Role: MC Truck Driver + MSIC Licence
Location: Chullora, NSW
Salary: From $52.70 per hour + Overtime + Super
Shifts: Afternoon Shift (04:00-05:00pm) - Monday to Friday ongoing
Duties of the role:
o Container and port work
Other General Duties of the roles above:
• Conducting pre-start inspections
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight time frames
• Complying to Work Health and Safety (WHS) and other operational procedures
• Pre-check inspection before setting off on deliveries
• Maintain vehicle in a clean and hygienic state
• Present any vehicle defect reports and report all hazards and injuries
• Adhere to Chain of Responsibility (CoR), Fatigue Management and Road Regulations
Requirements of the role:
• HC (Heavy-Combination) or MC (Multi-Combination) Truck Driver’s Licence with minimum 1 year truck driving experience
• MSIC (Maritime Security Identification Card) Licence for the specific role mentioned above
• Experienced driving around the ports/wharves
• Physically fit
• Good communication skills
• Good attention to detail and high procedural compliance
• Have a good Driving Record
• An up-to-date Resume
• Unlimited work rights in Australia
