Counterbalance Forklift Driver - Rocklea QLD

Driver Hire is a leading transport and logistics recruitment specialist, offering competitive pay rates and opportunities for ongoing and permanent employment.

We are currently seeking experienced Counterbalance Forklift Drivers for a well-established general freight forwarding company based in Rocklea.

The Role

As a Counterbalance Forklift Driver, your responsibilities will include:

• Loading and unloading general freight
• Loading and unloading curtain-sided trailers and trucks
• Working safely within a fast-paced transport environment
• Following load restraint and Chain of Responsibility requirements
• Assisting with general warehouse duties as required

This is a Monday to Friday position with overtime opportunities available.

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Current LF Forklift Licence
• Previous experience in the road transport and freight industry
• Experience loading and unloading trailers and curtain-sided vehicles
• Experience using RF scanning systems (desirable)
• Understanding of load restraint practices
• Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) compliance and legislation
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• High attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
