Driver Hire Tasmania is currently seeking experienced Warehouse 2IC / Senior Warehouse Operators for opportunities with established businesses across the greater Hobart area.
Working within small, committed and positive teams, these roles suit experienced warehouse professionals who enjoy taking ownership, supporting the day-to-day operation and being hands-on when required.
About the Role
Depending on the assignment, duties may include:
- Supporting the Warehouse Manager with day-to-day warehouse operations
- Receiving, picking, packing and dispatching stock
- Forklift operation and general materials handling
- Stock control and maintaining an organised, safe warehouse
- Assisting with deliveries and collections using a company vehicle
- Interacting professionally with customers and suppliers
- Supporting and guiding other team members as required
What We're Looking For
- Current Forklift Licence – essential
- Current Australian Driver Licence
- Solid experience within warehousing, distribution or a similar environment
- Previous experience as a 2IC, senior warehouse operator or leading hand highly regarded
- Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
- Reliable, practical and willing to contribute wherever needed
- Good communication skills and a professional approach to customers
