Driver Hire is seeking an experienced and motivated Spray Painters to join our clients manufacturing team.

This role would suit a quality-focused Spray Painter with experience in commercial vehicles, trailers, heavy machinery or a manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for surface preparation, spray painting and finishing, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard.

About the Role:

• Preparing surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, masking, sealing and surface correction.
• Applying paint, primers and protective coatings to trailers, components and other manufactured products.
• Operating spray-painting equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensuring paint finishes meet required quality and presentation standards.
• Inspecting completed work and rectifying imperfections or defects where required.
• Working closely with fabricators, sandblasters, supervisors and other team members to meet production schedules.
• Maintaining spray-painting equipment, tools and work areas.
• Following correct procedures for the storage and handling of paints, solvents and other chemicals.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work environment.
• Reporting equipment faults, quality issues or safety concerns promptly.
