Role: HC or MC Truck Drivers with or without MSIC Licence

Location: Erskine Park, NSW 

Salary:

HC with MSIC - Afternoon: $48.45 per hour + Overtime + Super

MC with MSIC - Afternoon: $50.73 per hour + Overtime + Super

Driver Hire Sydney currently supply the biggest transport companies in the NSW market.

Our client is looking for experienced HC or MC Truck Drivers with or without MSIC Licence.

Duties of the role:

• For MSIC Licenced drivers - Shuttling containers between their two depots (Banksmeadow and Erskine Park), working at the Ports
• For non-MSIC Drivers – doing local deliveries across Sydney
• Conducting pre-start inspections
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight time frames
• Complying to Work Health and Safety (WHS) and other operational procedures
• Pre-check inspection before setting off on deliveries 
• Maintain vehicle in a clean and hygienic state
• Present any vehicle defect reports and report all hazards and injuries
• Adhere to Chain of Responsibility (CoR), Fatigue Management and Road Regulations

Requirements of the role:

• HC (Heavy-Combination) or MC (Multi-Combination) Truck Driver’s Licence with minimum 1 year truck driving experience
• Current MSIC (Maritime Security Identification Card) Licence
• For MSIC holders - experienced driving at the Ports
• For non-MSIC holders – experienced in local deliveries
• Physically fit
• Good communication skills
• Good attention to detail and high procedural compliance
• Have a good Driving Record
• An up-to-date Resume
• Unlimited work rights in Australia
• Available for an immediate start 
• Please note, a National Police Check will be conducted as a requirement of this role
