MR Driver – Devonport

Driver Hire Tasmania is seeking an experienced MR Driver to join the team of one of our key clients based in Devonport.
With the busy peak period fast approaching, we're looking for a reliable, capable driver who knows the local area, enjoys a busy working environment and understands what it takes to deliver great service.
This is a genuine local pick-up and delivery (PUD) role – not linehaul. You'll be working across a mix of business and residential deliveries, managing multiple stops and playing an important part in keeping freight moving across the region.
What we're looking for
- Current MR licence and demonstrated commercial driving experience
- Genuine PUD experience, including multi-drop deliveries and collections
- Good local knowledge of Devonport and surrounding areas
- Confidence delivering to both commercial and residential customers
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- Physical fitness and willingness to assist with loading and unloading
- Reliability, flexibility and readiness for a busy peak period
