Driver Hire Tasmania is excited to be partnering with one of our key clients to recruit an experienced Warehouse Operator for their busy operation in Hobart's northern suburbs.

With a busy period ahead, our client is looking for a capable, motivated individual who understands how a warehouse operates and can contribute to the coordination, administration and day-to-day efficiency of the operation.

What you'll be doing

• Supporting the day-to-day coordination of warehouse activities
• Using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to manage and monitor operational workflows
• Undertaking key administrative tasks associated with warehouse operations
• Communicating with drivers, warehouse staff and other stakeholders
• Assisting with the allocation and direction of workflow to maintain operational efficiency
• Supporting accurate inventory, freight and operational records
• Contributing to a safe, organised and productive working environment

What we're looking for

• Demonstrated experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment
• A good understanding of warehouse processes, systems and workflows
• Experience with WMS and general computer-based administration
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Confidence working with others to coordinate tasks and priorities
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and getting things done
• A genuine commitment to safety, teamwork and operational excellence
• A willingness to learn, develop and take on additional responsibility
