Career Progression

We provide a clear career path and offer our staff genuine opportunities for growth. And this is where it gets really interesting.

Under Driver Hire’s unique model, you could become the next senior consultant, branch manager or even a director with shares in your own office. This has already happened for two of our managers (now directors) in Australia, and a number of our colleagues have been promoted within the business.

Driver Hire Australia started out in 2012 – two staff members, one office. The business has grown substantially since then, and so have the 30+ team members who’ve joined us since. If you have a real entrepreneurial spirit, you will have the opportunity to show it within Driver Hire Australia and we’ll invest in you to help you become the best you can be.

Training and Development

We want you to build a great career with Driver Hire, and we’ll provide training and support to help you get there.

We provide a mix of third party and in-house training to our employees to help them excel and develop knowledge and skills in different areas. These have included one-to-one and group training sessions, continuous sales and business development skills training, recruiting and candidate management, strategic planning and more.

 

 

Work-Life balance

We know that work will be a big part of your daily life, but we want all our employees to have a good work/personal life balance. As part of this, annual holiday entitlement increases after five years of employment and all employees, regardless of length of service, receives an extra day off for their birthday.

We can offer flexible working hours to meet the needs of our employees and for some roles, the opportunity to work from home. Our commitment to ‘Giving Something Back’ is also helpful in this area.

 

Incentive schemes

Driver Hire Australia offers above market salaries plus Super and an excellent bonus scheme.

All employees of Driver Hire have the opportunity to earn an additional bonus – on a quarterly basis – on top of their salary, once they pass their probationary period.

Your bonus will depend on your role, so you may have a target sales bonus structure in place to help you increase your earnings on top of your base salary or for for non-sales related roles, you will be eligible to join our turnover bonus scheme.
